Event description
The 27th Mervent hike will once again take place in the Mervent forest!
Meet at the town hall park.
Proposed routes:
► New: 3 walking trails with riddles: 8 – 12 and 20 km
► Mountain biking: 25 – 35 – 45 and 60 km
On-site registration:
► From 7.15am to 10.30am
► Possibility of payment by card.
Departures:
► Free from 7.30am to 10.30am
► /!\ Please note: no departures after 9.30am for the 60km mountain bike and 20km walk.
Services:
► Refreshment points are provided on all circuits.
► Tours can be downloaded onto your mobile phone
► Optional meal in the park: €4 (to be booked on registration)
The Mervent-Vouvant national forest
The largest forest in the Vendée with 5,000 hectares, this forest features a relief marked by steep valleys.
Today, the state forest is managed by the Office National des Forêts. This is a fragile environment. It is important for everyone to protect and respect it.
RULES OF THE RANDO MERVENTAISE
1 – The Rando Merventaise is open to all, at a free pace.
2 – Each participant is covered by a licence or civil liability insurance; the organisers decline all responsibility in the event of an accident.
3 – Please obey the Highway Code and all prefectural, municipal and private road signs; helmets must be worn by mountain bikers.
4 – Minors take part under the responsibility of their parents (see obligatory parental authorisation to be completed when registering).
5 – Each participant is responsible for his or her own equipment; the organisers decline all responsibility in the event of loss or theft.
6 – Remain courteous and respect the environment.
