A pretty young dog called Lady lives happily in a big, beautiful house, surrounded by the affection of her owners. But the arrival of a new baby in the little family somewhat disrupts Lady's daily life and her carefree happiness: she is no longer the centre of attention of her beloved masters. The worst happens when she is chased out of the house by the horrifying Aunt Sarah and her two hideous Siamese cats. Left to her own devices, she meets a stray dog, Clochard, who takes her under his wing.
