Tack the mainsail and off you go! It’s (almost) that simple! Depending on the wind and tides, head for the Passage du Gois or head west, towards the ocean! Whichever option you choose, a qualified instructor will supervise the activity in complete safety. Whether you’re a young sailor or a more experienced sailor, Fromentine’s municipal sailing school offers something for everyone, in terms of duration and level.

As a family, with friends or on your own, come and try light sailing (catamaran), windsurfing, paddling and kayaking. These water sports are open to everyone, beginners and experts alike, from the age of 8 upwards.
For younger children (aged 4 to 6), the “Jardin des mers” offers an introduction to sailing and the marine environment.
Located between the island of Noirmoutier and Fromentine beach, the sailing school’s area is calm and safe.
